Arthur C. Clark's "imagination" that became true

Most of us if not all have seen SCI-FI movies or seen a SCI-FI Show. The difference between SCI-FI and Fantasy films is that the former are based on premises, most of them scientific truths and others enter the terrain of speculation.

Years ago, SCI-FI author Arthur C. Clark wrote a book that narrated human made objects around the Eearth. Well, just as the flight to the moon of other authors, it was based on the laws of physics, in particular the law of gravitation.

Today, we are able to watch satellite TV thanks to Arthur's "fiction". Hundreds of satellites orbit the Earth in what today is known as "Clark's Orbit" in his honor. Arthur also proposed another novel idea, a space elevator, that positioned in some part of the earth could lift objects instead of launching them and now this is becoming possible thanks to the advances in nanotechnology and materials science.

I write this because I have witnessed some weird stuff lately that is not yet well explained in science magazines or science books. I'm talking about electromagnetic 3D polarization. I speculate this because like a month or so ago I started to notice the days lasted little longer (what a surprise it was summer). But that's not the weird thing I noticed.

I bought these "polarized" glasses that were "accidentaly" put at Sanborn's Citadel. Well guess what I found, most of led displays and some public lighting was polarized. What is the purpose for this, I have not yet investigated about it but it is very weird the potential misuse of this technology.

I have witnessed telemarketing companies doubling work time and using nights to work, but that's no surprise to anyone. But let us enter in the grounds of imagination and imagine a fascist government unable to find creative solutions to solve say, unemployment or to relieve cities from overcrowded traffic and pollution.

In this speculative scenario, Austin Powers franchise character, Dr. Evil might try to split the population in two groups, one that lived in the day, and the other that lived and worked at night, and probably Dr. Evil and his henchmen would enjoy the whole day and work each third day, if you know what I mean then you'll understand the implications of an isolated elite ruling a slave mankind.

Suppose also that they are able to access the cesium clock that regulates time or even alter the earth's rotation to make days last shorter so Dr. Evil does not alter his biorythm. Then Dr. Evil's enslaved population would have to be overworked, plus they would inherently be more productive and since population is halved in two turns or two "daylights" by modifying their chip to see polarized light and a false sky, then also more jobs could be created.

OMG, that sounds like a fascist regime ruling the world. But that's just conspiracy theories, do not believe me. They are not using polarized lights and they have never to do so in the past. Money bankers are good will persons that are empathetic to the people's needs of personal achievement and full potential release as human beings.
